Hi,

My name is Joanna Nind and I am the Connexions Personal Adviser (Careers) for Redhill School.

I am in Redhill every Monday for individual interviews and small group sessions in the
Connexions Office (situated next to A1) with Yr. 11 students.  You might also see me at Parents' evenings.   I also run a "drop-in" over the lunch hour if anyone who has a question about what to do next or any issues which may affect your career choice, so feel free to drop by.  If you would like a careers interview for a more lengthy discussion, please see Mr Hubble. 

How exactly can I help?

I can help you talk over whatever career ideas you might have and show you where you might find more information.  If you have no ideas about what to do, I can help give you some ideas.  I can also help you apply for jobs, training and college courses and make you aware of what your options are.  I can help you even after you have left Redhill.

I am based in the Connexions Office in Stourbridge at the top end of the High Street (82 High Street) next door to Barclays Bank opposite McDonalds so you could drop in after school.  We have job vacancies (though no part time jobs) and I can help you with job search skills i.e. putting together a CV; likely questions you might get at a job interview; writing speculative letters etc.  Don't forget you can still drop by even after you have left school.
